Fun fact: Internal organs like stomach, uterus, and the small & large intestines are made of smooth muscle. Smooth muscle, in contrast to skeletal or cardiac muscles, have less myoglobin (which is an iron-rich protein that has a dark red color) and therefore is pale-ish pink, not a deeper red-brown color.
