Full Moon//Full Life

This year, March's full Moon (March 7, 2023) occurs before the spring equinox (March 20, 2023), making it the Lenten Moon.

Native American tribes and wrote that the name Worm Moon refers to a different sort of “worm”—beetle larvae—which begin to emerge from the thawing bark of trees and other winter hideouts at this time.

An alternative name for March’s full Moon is the Sugar Moon. Sugar maples are tapped in late winter; sap buckets gather the sap, which is later turned into maple syrup.

I had a very magical time with this full moon two nights ago. I woke up and they were appearing in my window, very low in the sky. The fog made their presence all encompassing. I was like a moth drawn to a flame. 

Health and healing may also be themes around this Full Moon. The beautiful Virgo energy encourages us to turn to our inner wisdom, trust our intuition, and seek guidance and support from mother earth in the form of fresh air, sunshine, water, herbs, and nutrition.

Chiron, the asteroid of the wounded healer, and Jupiter, the planet of expansion are also very active under this Full Moon, enhancing the healing energy that is on offer.

I cleanse myself from top to toe. I cleanse away the past, so I may grow. I cleanse all that is no longer needed. I cleanse all that is no longer welcome in my energetic space. As I cleanse, I allow myself to soar. My energy lifts; my heart opens. I am pure.”

3.) After your meditation, take your jar of spring water and program it with a loving intention. Water has a memory and by infusing your water with an intention, it helps to lock the vibration of that intention into the water. Here is a guide but you can say whatever you feel – 

“I program this water with the intention of……. thank you.”

4.) Take the three flower buds. One represents the past, one represents the present, and the third represents the future. 

5.) Gently cup the first flower in both hands and whisper something to it that you would like to release or let go of from your past. Once done, drop the flower into the jar of water. 

Take your second flower, gently cupping it in both hands, and whisper something to it that you would like support, healing, or assistance with for a situation that is happening in the present. Drop the flower into the jar of water once done.

7.) Take your final flower, and cupping it in both hands whisper a wish you would like to see manifest for the future. Once done, drop the flower into the jar. 

8.) Take your quartz crystal, if using, and place it into your jar of water. This will heighten the vibration of all of your intentions.
